In a letter that Alex wrote to his friend Wayne he wrote “As for me, I’ve decided that I’m going to live this life for sometime to come. The freedom and simple beauty of it is just too good to pass up.”. I think Thoreau would like this quote because this is what he did, he went out in the nature to escape society and to just be free. Thoreau also loved the beauty of nature he would go in to great detail about it when he would write, he was very observant. Thoreau would appreciate Chris because they are so similar.

Thoreau would hate society today. There is way to much technology. some people could not live live with out technology. kids now  days don’t know what its like to not have technology. “I went to the wood because I wished to live deliberately to front only the essential facts in life.” This quote means that he went to the wood to get way from society

I feel most at peace when I am with my friends and family. It is always fun and interesting no matter what we do. We could be watching tv or just talking and it would be fun. I would rather be with my friend and family then by myself

A literary elemet that is impront to this story is the setting. Setting is when and where the story takes place. In the story Walden the setting is the walden pond. The walden pond is where he built his small cabin. the setting is important because it gives the reader an image of how beuatiful nature is.

I think that this will be interesting in both good and bad ways. There will be some difficulty with the technology. I also think it will help alot  with it reading to us and can do other stuff you cant do with books.
