It really talks about just taking in the wilderness and what it has to offer. Thoreau seems to be at peace while setting there talking in what it around him and I fell like him and Chris would do almost the same thing. I could see the both of them just sitting together being away from society and just taking in the wilderness.

Conflict- an internal or external resistance faced by the protagonist.

Conflict shows a huge roll though out this book. The biggest case of conflict it Thoreau and society. The Conflict that he is facing is industrialization, Taxes and laws he does not want to follow. Conflict in my mind is the biggest Literary element in the book.

I feel as if he would not enjoy today’s society, Everyone acts as if you are only as good as the items in witch you have. What I mean by this is the most money,Cars and all together items you have the better of a person you are. Witch is the opposite of what Thoreau believes in.

I feel most content while being with my cars. I enjoy being away from having to deal with people and to be able to just sit and work on a car. I enjoy being able to take it out on a nice day and just sit and wax it. Most of the time it is very relaxing and peaceful.
