I’ve posted notes on paragraphs 7, 22, and 30.
I enjoy taking my dog out to go walking around our neighborhood. We have a large pond near our house, and she loves barking at the ducks and squirrels that we pass. The best time to go is mid-afternoon when the sun is still high, because there’s something almost surreal about going out in the middle of the day for a nice walk. Everyone’s at work/school or doing something productive, and it’s quite peaceful with so few people around. I also love listening to the cicadas in the trees because they give everything a lazy, summery feel.
Taking walks puts me in a calm headspace and allows me to sift through my thoughts. It’s a good break from the constant action of everyday life and a reminder to slow down and take things as they come.
