Generally, my favorite place to go for a walk is the beach since I live in Redington Shores, but spring break has attracted a LARGE crowd to the beaches, so recently I have been visiting the park in Walter Fuller to go biking. I like to walk in the afternoon, around sunset time, because I love the glow of the sunset and the change in colors of the sky, and I have found that by time of sunset, it is a bit nicer temperature-wise than during the day. I often see a variety of birds, I like seeing other people walking their dogs, and I found a bench that is positioned in front of a large baseball field that overlooks a perfect view of the sunset.
I find walks at sunset to be the most effective method of mental relaxation for me in the afternoon, especially after a stressful day. I hope to soon be able to return to the beaches, but I’m happy to have found a new favorite spot for new sight-seeing and look forward to going back!
